Sierra College Spring 2022 -UPDATE

POSSIBLE CHANGE TO IN PERSON SIERRA COLLEGE CLASSES (First 2 weeks of semester)

The Sierra College leadership team has been meeting daily to monitor and discuss the current COVID-19 surge and how to maintain campus services with the least amount of disruption as possible.

In order to lower the density and reduce disruption on our campuses, instructors who are teaching on ground have the option to teach remotely for the first two weeks of class, through Friday, 2/4.

Because of this your class could:

  • Remain in person as is
  • Be taught synchronously through Zoom at the scheduled class time; or
  • Be taught the first two weeks asynchronously (no set class time)

You should have already heard from your college instructor to let you know how the class will proceed for the first two weeks of the semester.

For the classes that remain in person, classes begin next Monday and you should go to your assigned room as stated on your Sierra College schedule. Your Sierra College schedule can be found in your My Sierra account by selecting Registration and Classes and then View My Classes by Semester.

If you don’t see your class listed above, please continue to check your college email for any updates from your instructor.

I will continue to update the list as I get more information.

I will be available for quick drop-in appointments on Monday, January 24th 11am-12pm in the N1 Counseling Center. Please come by if you have any questions or need help about the start of the semester.
